Christina Haack is a Californian born lady. She was born July 9th, 1983. Her first job post-school was as a real estate agent. Tarek El-Moussa, her upcoming husband, was also in the industry. The couple ran a prosperous business, until 2008, in which real estate developers as well as house flippers and others went bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa almost eliminated due to the 2008 market crash. They went from living in a home that cost $6,000 per month to an apartment costing $700 a month. Their businesses and the economy gradually rebounded. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted his friend to aid in making an HGTV video audition in 2011. The video showed Tarek as well as Christina teaming up in flipping the house. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. These executives were fascinated by Tarek's and Christina's love story. In 2012, the couple signed an agreement with HGTV. In April 2013, "Flip of Flop" premiered. The show ran 92 episodes between 2013 between 2013 and 2017. Christina and Tarek had to buy houses, usually in Orange County. After spending many weeks making improvements then they'd flip the houses to make profits. Tarek is focused on the removal and remodeling, while Christina is in charge of creating the design. She makes sure the project is completed on time.
